A little history about...

Walls With A View, Inc.
Janis Richmond

I inherited my talents through a long line of painters and sculptures in my family. I am a native of Reading, Pennsylvania; I studied fine arts at the prestigious York Academy of Arts. I also studied sculpture at the Wyomissing Institute of Arts with Ramon Longo. In 1977, I was awarded Pennsylvania's Governor's award in Art. I moved to San Diego in 1983 and continued my education in sculpture at Mesa College with T.J. Dixon. As a freelance artist, I work in all media, complimenting my painting with extensive experience in sculpture, printmaking and tile work. Since 1990, my company is credited for beautifying buildings with custom painted finishes (see customers). View the online gallery or visit Ocean Beach, California and view some of my murals inside and out of the local shops and gathering places. One such place is the world famous "The Hodad", has been shown on TV's Renegade and Silk Stalkings.
